Getting ready for the holidays

As the holidays move closer, we realize how short life is and how fast time goes! We are marveled at how fast Sam is growing and developing. Everyday she is saying new words and doing fun and crazy stuff! North Carolina is so beautiful in the fall with all the leaves changing colors. We are enjoying our stay here so far.

We are excited for our new baby and to add to our little, but growing family. We are also in a transition stage and are feeling the crunch from cost of health insurance. It has pressured me into looking for a job with better health benefits. Whether or not I will find, is a different story.

We count our blessings that we have the basics in life and the Gospel! We will plug along, work hard, and have faith.

Happy Turkey Day!

As the holidays are fast approaching, we look back at our time here in North Carolina and feel blessed to be here. We just found that Amanda is 8 weeks pregnant! We are excited to prepare to have another addition to our family. We hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving and hope everyone enjoys the pics!

It's going...good

As one can probably guess, our first summer in the south has been a learning experience for us. We enjoyed the summer rains, but hated the humidity that came with it! Sam has learned to love her Grandparents, Uncles, and Aunt. Work is the same, however it's nice to learn the tax side of public accounting. I hope to sit for the CPA Exam next summer and then start an MBA program next fall. Even though we have had trials, the Lord has shown his hand in our life here and we try to remember to count out blessings everyday.

Hope you enjoy this video of Sam playing in the rain!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

This past week has been busy with Halloween and Sam's 2nd Birthday. She is two now and has the attitude of a teenager already. Some say it is the "terrible two's", but could foresee this lasting quite past two!
Sam loved her first real time trick-or-treating and was very excited to be a cat.

Hope you enjoy the pics!
