Sam's Antics!

Well Samantha has been in rare form lately. These 2 pictures are a good example. Ever since Hunter was born she has become a total Daddy's girl. So the first picture is of her and her dad getting ready to go on their hike. She said and I quote ' Um Mom yeah I Tink (Think) Daddy and I will go Hiking and you can stay home with Hunter. Yeah.. Ok Does that sound good to you Mom." Well she had a blast on her hike and came home with her first Tic.
Second picture just makes me laugh. She came to me the other morning and said Mom I really need my sunglasses." I said Why? "Well I need to get on my laptop and I can't see without them." I was slightly confused and then she cleared it up. "I need glasses just like my dad does when he is on his computer." She never fails to keep me laughing and I am always shocked at how observant she is.
A few more stories from the past week. We are at the park swinging and she says "Mom you do not fit on that swing! Your butt is hanging out all over the place. Be careful you don't break it." Wow talk about a jab to my self esteem :) Ok last one I found a kids desk in the garbage and brought it home cleaned it up and when Sam woke up in the morning she was beyond ecstatic. She said "WOW! You got a desk from the garbage just for me because you Love me SOOOOO Much." I was like YEAH! and she said " Oh thank you Mom I have a desk just like daddy now." And it now sits right next to his and she uses it all of the time. What a great find!

Family Walks!

These are two very happy kids! They love going on family walks. Sam put's on her "Super Fast Running Shoes" and we pop Hunter in the backpack. We have such a good time together. This is when we were getting ready to go on my Mothers Day walk it was a gorgeous evening. And Samantha and I had a blast chasing eachother.

Getting Healthy!!!

Ok so getting healthy is always in the back of my mind nagging at me. I never really learned to love exercise don't get me wrong I feel great when I do but it just does not come naturally to me and the motivation is soooo hard to find. I also truly enjoy food. But I have suffered from a sensitive system my whole life. It has always been diagnosed as "IBS"! So after way to many visits to the bathroom in my life and going to bed with a stomach ache every night I decided to take things into my own hands. One of my favorite fitness gurus is Jillian Michael's from The Biggest Loser. Stephan and I listen to her pod casts and are always amazed at her insight. The podcast that I really think is going to change my life was about Celiac's Disease an Auto Immune disorder where your system cannot tolerate Gluten so I have started a Gluten free diet which I expound on in my other blog http://glutenfreemamag.blogspot.com. It is amazing the changes I have experienced! Anyways I found a quote by Jillian Michael's that has gotten me thinking...

Hunter is 10 months!!!

Posted by PicasaWell today is Hunter's 10 month birthday. Here are some things I want to remember... Hunter's ability to scream for 2 hours straight and then clap his hands and smile as soon as you finally get him. He is such a lover boy always giving hugs and kisses. The absolute look of adoration in his eyes when Sam play's with him or really does or sais anything. His few pieces of curly BLONDE hair. He says HI Dad and yells Mom. He waves Hello. His number one goal is to try and eat the cat. He pulls himself up in the bathtub and then gives a big toothy grin of triumph. He is overall just a happy very busy baby. And we have such a blast with him. OH yeah and totally need to give a shout out to my friend Shallyse Gasteulum for once again taking an awesome picture of Hunter! This wasnt even planned she was just nice enough to take some when I wasn't looking!!!
