Sam and Hunter's antics for the week.

Here are some thing's I want to remember about this week.
Sam "I Love my baby brother soooooo much! When can you get me a sister mom?"
Mom "Maybe once Hunter is bigger we can have another baby."
Sam " Actually I think 2 babies would be good. I will help you."
Hunter giving me big Hugs and then looking at me and Hugging me again. He has this absolute look of adoration in his eyes.
Hunters cute little Chubby belly and feet.
Hunter getting so excited when Stephan comes home. And starting to cry if he walks by him without picking him up.
Sam and Hunter taking baths together. Soooo stinking cute!
Sam waking up everyday and asking What day is it Mom? A playgroup day? A Mimi Day? Preschool Day? Ok that sounds good.
Hunter sleeping on his tummy with his butt in the air.
Sam finally slept in her bed basically all night. Until like 5:00 in the morning.
Hunter rolling all over the house and making me sooo aware of my shortcomings. Such as him finding a penny on the ground and choking!
Sam telling me Mom I think it would be a good idea if you exercised and then maybe cleaned the house. (Stephan is that you?)
Hunters LOVE of Cherrios.
Sam's new found attitude. "AHHH Ok Mom FINE!"
Hunter's first ear infection! Poor kid!
I guess I should do this everyday cause I seem to forget by the end of the week. Isn't it funny what kids come up with.

Coming soon... (by Stephan)

Yep, I am finally posting something...Don't worry everyone (as I am sure you are), I will get a pic posted of the glorious new car soon. For those who know me, it's unfortunately not an Mercedes AMG, however it is just as cool in another way.

Children and Sleep

Since about the middle of my pregnancy with Hunter I have gotten lax and started allowing Sam to sleep with us on occasion. Well basically our King Size bed turned into the "family bed". Not the greatest idea but we have kind of a love hate relationship with it. Weird? However Sam is getting bigger and Hunter Still not sleeping through the night soooo needless to say the bed is crowded! Well Becci aka "Mimi" got Sam a new bed and we have been talking to her about how she needs to be a big girl and sleep in it. But once again I have procrastinated making the switch as I knew it would be DRAMA! Well I woke up this morning sleeping in Samantha's bed with Hunter and Stephan and Sam were in our bed! I mean HELLO! As one famous comedian would say "That's your sign" That's it I thought tonight is the night. And it is which is why I am typing from the laptop in the doorway of Samantha's room because DRAMA is an understatement for what I have endured this glorious evening.

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Wow life has been so busy lately. Stephan is in tax season and gone all of the time and Samantha, Hunter and I are busy with pre-school, play dates, dance class, church and work also known as "Mimi day's" for Samantha and Hunter. Doesn't sound like much but it just seems to add up. Samantha is finally venturing out and has become fantastic at playing with her friends. She is also getting confident and bossy. I have to laugh because I see so much of myself in her. I also have to feel guilty as I now understand just a little of what I put my sister through! Sorry Lindsey!
Sam got to make Valentines for all of her friends this year I found a really cute one at www.skiptomylou.org I love this web site. Hunter is a very happy and easily adaptable baby which is really nice with how often we are on the run. He is getting closer to crawling and roles all over the house. I can vacuum and he still finds the smallest particles to put in his mouth. Most recently a pine needle from the Christmas Tree. HELLO it's February! I swear I vacuum. I know because it is such an ordeal when I get the vacuum out. Samantha freaks and then talks about it for the next 2-3 hours. That is honestly not an exaggeration. We are all looking forward to tax season ending and realize how much we love Stephan now that he is never around. My house is not nearly as organized! That is his strong point and obviously my weak point. Next post will be a picture of Stephan's new car. I will give you a hint it is his dream car and I am embarrassed to drive in it. However when we are in the Ghetto of Durham everyone looks at us with respect. Can you guess what it is? Just know if it was not a WAY GOOD DEAL there is no way he would be driving this! So keep your eyes out for that post! Happy Valentines Day to all! Thank you for all of your love and support! And thanks to those who take the time to comment on our Blog.

Shadeleaf Studios

So I am so excited about these photos! This is just a small sampling of the fantastic pictures we got. The photographer Shallyse Gastelum was fantastic. The kids were so at ease and she got some really fun and creative shots. Definitely captured many facets of their personality. Check out her web site www.shadeleafstudios.com her work is very impressive. I highly recommend her it is totally worth it.

Nickname's by Amanda

Ok, So I have been reading other peoples Blog's and realize allot of you have nicknames for your kids. So it got me thinking and listening to myself and without even realizing it i have nicknames that i use for my kids. How did I not realize? I'm not sure. So Sam's is MissyMoo and Hunters is Chunk. I actually use these quite often. I guess I will start to worry about Hunters when he does the Truffle Shuffle! (Can you name that movie?) :) That's all just a random thought for the blogging world. Oh yeah I used to have a nickname it was Amanda Panda. Of course my siblings called me Amanda Panda the big fat Wanda. Not sure what a Wanda is but none the less they managed to get me with that one! Gets me thinking about what the future holds for MissyMoo and Chunk.
